Welcoming 2009 with open arms!!

Wow, I can't believe 2008 is finally over. I have to be completely honest and admit that I couldn't be happier. I am MORE than ready to start fresh with 2009. Some rough times are, hopefully, finally in our past.

We had a wonderful Christmas and a fun New Years Eve at my parents house. After a couple games of dominoes and great food we were ready to ring in 2009. Since I'm so done with 2008, I figure we should focus on what's to come... So here is my plan for the coming months:

We are looking forward to a visit from Diana (Tim's Mom) though we don't know when that will be. Last time she came to visit she was a dream come true! She stayed with me at home so that Tim could work and she took care of my every need. She is one of the most nurturing women I've ever known and I am so grateful she was there for me while I went through Chemotherapy.

Lindsey will be giving birth to Tyson very soon. In fact, it seems to be a little too soon! Cross your fingers that the doctor's strategies will keep the little one inside mommy because he seems very anxious to meet us. She's been put on strict bed rest and it sounds like even still she might struggle to make it til February. Which is terrible because he's not even due til March 5th!! Anyway, I'm sure you can read more details about that on Lindsey's blog. Hopefully she's posted the details, she knows more about it than me!

One more thing we are looking forward to... We are paying off our cars this year! The infiniti will be done around May and then the passat in the fall sometime. Earlier this year after my first surgery, we bought me a car since we had been living with just the one while I was sick. We are very excited and blessed to be able to get my infiniti paid off so soon!

I'd like to say that we will buy a house this year...but I'm afraid it might be the beginning of next year so I guess I can't include that in my list of what to look forward to this year... SOMEDAY!

Okay well, I guess that's it for now! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and have an awesome 2009!

One final note: Am I married to the cutest boy ever?? I think so...
