So bad at this...

No entry for July OR August... Wow, I'm on a roll. Okay what's new? Well, I did get myself a little job. That's pretty exciting. My doctors won't let me work full time yet because they don't think I'm quite ready, so I got a part time job where I do data entry from 5-10pm for two weeks a month. It's really easy and Lindsey and I work there together so we just get to chat while we type. It's fun. And it works out perfectly because Tim works in the evenings also, so I don't feel like I'm missing anything. My nephew Benjamin turned 1 at the end of July and we had a little birthday party for him and Aaron since their birthdays are so close to each other. There is a picture over there on the side of Tim and I at Lindsey's house for the party and I am just cracking up. Guess what I'm laughing at? I'm such a dork. We gave Aaron this card that sings the Hamster Dance song. You've probably all heard it even if you don't recognize the name. Anyway, I thought it was hilarious and even though nobody thought it was as funny as I did, I just couldn't stop laughing when he opened it. So in the end, everyone was just laughing at me laugh at this card. It was kind of embarrassing, I laughed til I cried. And you see Tim? He's laughing there but what he's saying is "Do you see this??? What a dork!" Let's see... OH! Wendi got married on the 24th also and Tim and I were able to go to California to attend. I was privileged enough to be a bridesmaid and it was a beautiful little ceremony out on the beach. I loved it and of course Wendi looked absolutely incredible. Jason is a lucky man! I'll attach pictures of that as well. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make it because I was barely up and around by the time her wedding came around. So I'm glad that we got there! I had an appointment at the hospital for this morning for a little check up and I went up to the 5th floor to see if my favorite nurse was working. She was and I was so excited to see her. We made great friends while I was there and she is pregnant now and due in December! I'm so happy for her since they tried for quite a while before having any success. She was such an amazing nurse and helped me so much while I was sick. I just love her and it was great to see her again. Tim is doing really well also, he is working at both jobs still and probably hating every minute of it. Poor guy works all the time. He's a trooper though and he does what he's gotta do. I hope I can work soon so he's not carrying the load on his own. Lindsey and I are working on getting my business up and running. I started that before this whole thing happened last year but then it never went anywhere since I was in the hospital... obviously. So now I want to start it for real. We've been doing some marketing and all that. Lindsey's business is already going strong but I will be attempting mine so that I can join her and we can work together. Wish me luck! I joined the book club in my ward. I'm hoping that goes well. I went to one meeting where they had just finished reading Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. So this month's pick is called Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I've never heard of it so I went to the library to check it out but they didn't have it. I'm waiting for it to come in from one of the other branches. Should be here tomorrow and then it's reading time!! They also asked me if I could join the volleyball team which of course I totally want to do! I just don't want to slow them down cuz I'm not really up to that point yet. I really want to be!! But I need to get some more strength back before I try to run around a vball court. I guess it depends on how competitive it is. I'm going to go to the next game and check it out. I need to start working out so I can actually move! Well, it's a lot later than I thought so I'm going to head home. I'm at Lindsey's house right now hanging with her and my favorite baby. So I'll post again soon I promise. It may not be tomorrow, it may not be a week from now... But I promise it will be soon :o)
What a beautiful bride!!
Who thinks I should forgive Wendi for making me wear this dress??

Yea! I am so glad that you are finally back to blogging again! It sounds like you're doing better and that makes me so happy! Your hair reminds me so much of my post-chemo hair, it's cute! I'm glad that you are enjoying your job and get to hang with your sister, that's awesome. We can't wait to see you guys again. Are you going to be in Utah anytime soon? We'll be there at Christmas and maybe sometime before that.

Thanks for the update. I think about you. It makes me sick to hear what you are going through because it is so much like my mom. Are you in remission then? Anyhow, you look great and Wedni does as well. How neat for you to be there. She is so gorgeous!
