Barton Creek Greenbelt

There's almost nothing in this world that we enjoy more, than walking the dogs on an awesome nature trail. So this weekend,we went to the Barton Creek Greenbelt with Keno and Josie and we really had a great time! Aside from almost getting lost in the woods (Tim says we weren't lost, but there seemed to be a very distinct loss of trail...) we had a really, fun time letting the dogs run crazy. I have posted some pics from our day out. I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed our day!

My FAVORITE color is purple and when I saw these amazing purple berries, I had to stop and take a photo. They were the most vibrant color purple I've ever seen. Maybe someday I'll grow them in my back yard... think they are poisonous??

Please excuse my very severe lack of makeup in this picture, we pretty much woke up and left! Despite the no makeup, we had to get a pic in front of this big awesome tree.

And do we have the MOST adorable dogs that ever lived?? I think so... Here are our babies on a big huge tree stump. It wasn't as easy as it looks to get them up there and looking at the camera together.
Tim hung from a tree, if we had kids - our pictures would like the same as this. :o) Tim is like a big kid, especially in the woods! Keno and Josie went swimming for a while and Tim walked out to a rock with them to take some photos. Josie is surprisingly, quite a strong little swimmer!

These are my boys: Tim & Keno - Man are they cute or what??

Then as we were walking back towards the car, we saw the MOST GIGANTIC milipede or whatever this thing is. It was like from another planet or something. It was black with RED stripes!!
It was so gross!!

Just another lovely day at the park with our babies. :o)

What a fun, relaxing day! Those berries were really pretty and purpley, if they aren't poisonous, you should grow them in your yard. And that millipede thing is super gross!
