January Birthdays & More...

Every year the joys of Christmas end with the promise of many, many birthdays to come in January. We are a family of 5 (my immediate family before I was married) and 3 have January birthdays. Plus my uncle Robin has a January birthday. So we usually do a birthday dinner for everybody and this year we went to Gattiland. It's a pizza buffet place that has an arcade for kids to play in the back. It's a great salad bar and we really enjoy going there and its been a while since we went last so yesterday was fun! Here are some pictures from the evening - This was my very first bundt cake ever and I took it to Gattiland for the birthday cake. I had a great time with it and I must say... I am finding that I actually really enjoy baking! Maybe Micki is rubbing off on me!
How cute is this little pregnant woman? - Man, my face looks fat...
Can you believe my cute little mother turned 46 yesterday??
This picture has a great story behind it. Dad bought my mom this 4 disc compilation set that had a bunch of songs on it that she loved. Only the company mailed him the wrong one! So he wrapped it up anyway and gave it to my mom and then told her what happened. But you should have seen her face when she opened it! She was wondering what in the world this Radio Worship CD was! It was hilarious! And this is Dad explaining to Grandma why he gave mom a Radio Worship CD. We had a good laugh.
Here's the whole crew - except Trace who was playing in the arcade. And you can't see Mom & Dad or Me & Tim because we were behind the camera in the booth. Starting from the left all the way around is Robin & Marla Gilliland, Aaron & Lindsey Haroldsen, Amanda Muckle, Taylor, Grandpa & Grandma Jones.
We had a great time! Happy Birthday to Mom & Robin! The rest of the January birthdays are still to come....
The other day I was at Lindsey's house helping with Benjamin because she's on bedrest and I took lots of pictures of the sweet little boy I call my nephew. Here are just a few!
Lindsey let him play with the iPod and he got a big kick out of the music! The cords were a bit confusing to him though... Watch him struggle :o)
Oh there we go! An earphone in the ear!
Now what does this hot pink thing do??
Then he decided that he should be wearing my beanie! So he just took it. Babies think they are in charge of everything I swear!
Oh, wow what a doll... Well he looks better in it than me so I guess he wins!!
And last but not least - I have been trying to be very diligent in documenting my hair growth as it comes back. So here are a couple photos with my newest length. I am finally at the point where I can put some of it up! YAY! However, that hair coming down by my ears is about the longest length. It comes down a little further in the back but it's still very short...
I'm so grateful to not be bald anymore!
Just call me Dr. Evil...

You are so cute and your face is not fat! I seriously love your hair! It's so nice when it finally gets to a point where it looks like a real hair style and not something you are just stuck with due to circumstances. That's how I felt at least, I was so glad when it finally looked like maybe I had cut it that way on purpose. I love family get togethers too. The CD story was funny, I need to see you soon!

You look very cute with short hair! I love it. I also just think you are amazing because I just know how hard it can be. Is the over now or no? How are you feeling. Btw you look just like your mom and you are both beautiful!
